Policy Details

We have a 72-hour Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel or modify a reservation, you must do so by 3 PM 72-hours of 3 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel or modify your reservation post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for one full night plus tax. Early departures are considered last-minute cancellations and are non-refundable. Holidays & special events are subject to seasonal rates. Non-refundable reservations cannot be canceled or modified - total reservation amount will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show. The hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation. A refundable deposit is required upon check-in.

The Ocean Lodge is located at 1015 Ocean Street in Santa Cruz. Our convenient location is near top attractions, museums, and live entertainment. Additionally, our address provides easy access to the Cabrillo Highway 1 for easy sightseeing throughout the area.

Once checked in, no cancellations. All linens are inventoried: missing or damaged linens will be charged.  Any damages to hotel property will be charged an additional fee upon assessment. Guest acknowledges that smoking and vaping is not allowed in a non-smoking guest room, pool area, or common areas. If anyone in guest's party smokes in a non-smoking guest room, or any non-designated smoking areas, the guest hereby expressly authorizes hotel management to charge the credit card the amount to reimburse the property for the additional cost of cleaning a guest room. If your reservation has been paid in advance or you elect to pay by cash, a security deposit via credit card will be required upon check-in and will be charged in the event that damages outlined herein occur. The hotel takes a credit preauthorization but does not accept cash deposits. Noise-free rooms are not guaranteed.
